Warranty and Return Policy

Lars Theoderik warrants that the rugs sold to the original owner are unique, handmade crafts in the materials specified. No handmade item is ever completely perfect, but a rug may be returned if the customer is not satisfied, and Lars Theoderik will refund the purchase price minus a 10% restocking fee. Shipping costs are not refundable. In the event that the customer is not satisfied because of color (This applies only to the four items that are not basically black and white.), the restocking fee will be waived and a full refund made, minus the shipping cost. We believe that the rugs are of such quality and beauty that the customer will in fact be satisfied, but we are unable to assume the risk of customers ordering rugs merely for the purpose of examination. Our inventory at this time is too small and exclusive to allow this, and we are unable to offer similar rugs as replacements because of the uniqueness of each item.

Except as provided for above, Lars Theoderik makes no other warranties expressed or implied, as to any product and in particular makes no warranties of merchantability or of fitness for any particular purpose. In no event shall Publick Man be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising out of the sale or use of the product.

In the rare case of a return:
Please call a Lars Theoderik representative and obtain an authorization code for your return prior to sending the item/s back. Use of this code will assist us to ensure your account is handled properly and credited. Items need to be packaged and secured so they are returned in as-new condition.

Handling fees are also non-refundable.

Delivery

All items are subject to prior sale, which may take up to two days to be removed from the website. We will confirm availability of items and shipping date within two days in most cases, and no funds will be collected for items that are not available.

Items are shipped by United Parcel Service to your door whenever possible. Inspect all merchandise at the time of delivery and note any damages or shortages found on the bill of lading. Delivery problems will be corrected promptly and handled with the utmost consideration.
